SUNLIT LANDSCAPING

About Us

Professional in Practice. Uncompromising on Safety and Responsibility.

Core Values

Professional

Combining multidisciplinary expertise to turn design, knowledge and experience into practical.

Safety

Identifying risks from planning through construction and work in accordance with regulation.

Sustainability

Prioritising nature-based thinking, long-term maintenance and measurable ecological outcomes.

Professional |
A Multidisciplinary Team Turning Plans into Practice

Our work extends beyond any single trade. Our team brings together engineers, arborists, ecologists, landscape designers, safety professionals and experienced frontline personnel. From the early stages of each project, these disciplines work together to consider site conditions, plant requirements, construction feasibility, statutory requirements, risk and long-term maintenance.

Professional Engineers

Our team combines expertise in programming, geographic information systems, civil engineering and environmental engineering, supported by relevant qualifications, practical experience and professional memberships.

Qualified Arboriculture Professionals

Registered arborists under the Development Bureau and personnel certified by international professional bodies, with experience in tree surveys, risk assessment and tree management.

Ecologists

Practical experience in ecological surveys, habitat assessment, monitoring and ecological restoration.

Landscape Designers

Training in landscape planning, together with experience in design, planting layouts and greening works.

Safety Professionals

Registered Safety Officers with professional occupational safety and health training and familiarity with F&IU and CSSR compliance requirements.

Frontline Construction Team

Extensive experience in planting, tree works, hydroseeding, maintenance and greening construction.

Work at Height

Tree-crown operations, scaffolds, ladders and mobile elevating work platforms.

Lifting Operations

Lifting and handling of trees, plants, materials and large equipment.

Manual Handling

Equipment selection, protective measures, operating zones and personnel competence.

Weather and Heat Stress

Arrangements for high temperatures, thunderstorms, strong winds and adverse weather.

Chainsaws and Cutting Equipment

Equipment selection, protective measures, operating zones and personnel competence.

Mobile Plant and Vehicles

Plant movements, reversing operations, blind spots and segregation of people and vehicles.

Slopes and Uneven Ground

Falls, slips, falling rocks and the stability of working positions.

Public and Traffic Interfaces

Hoardings, pedestrian diversions, traffic management and third-party safety.

Safety |
Risk Management Built into Every Work Stage

Landscape and tree works often involve people, machinery, plants, slopes and public interfaces at the same time. Our team works with personnel experienced in safety practice to identify hazards according to project conditions, establish safe working arrangements, select suitable equipment and continually review control measures before and during construction.

We are familiar with the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (Cap. 59, F&IU Ordinance) and the Construction Sites (Safety) Regulations (Cap. 59I, CSSR), together with other relevant requirements. Where applicable, we coordinate site safety rules, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and site supervision.

Sustainability | Nature-Based Solutions
Creating Lasting Environmental Value

Nature-based solutions are becoming an important direction for urban and infrastructure development. We combine experience in landscape design, ecological engineering, carbon management and long-term maintenance to address environmental issues including the urban heat island effect, noise, habitat connectivity, soil erosion, air quality and biodiversity.

Rather than focusing only on compliance documents or submission requirements, we assess whether each measure can deliver meaningful results. Our team includes professionals with experience in BEAM green building, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Monitoring and Audit (EM&A), ESG planning and reporting and carbon auditing, applying a nature-based approach to project solutions.

Low-Carbon Landscapes and Green Buildings

Integrating ESG, carbon sequestration, vertical greening, green roofs and green building requirements to improve environmental and energy performance.

Woodland and Mangrove Restoration

Re-establishing habitats in response to hydrological, soil and ecological conditions, with continued monitoring of survival, diversity and natural recovery.

Conservation and Transplanting of Valuable Trees

Providing surveys, root-zone protection, transplant assessments, construction monitoring and aftercare, with emphasis on long-term tree survival and health.

Compensatory Planting and Performance Verification

Using scientific data to evaluate species selection, plant establishment and ecological function—not only to complete submissions, but to confirm that measures are effective.
